AVTECH Software is pleased to announce that an update to the Room Alert® 12E Firmware is available for download at AVTECH.com. It is strongly recommended that all Room Alert® 12E users upgrade to this version as it adds a number of new features and resolves some issues from previous versions.
Room Alert® 12E Firmware v2.1.1 includes the following:
- Added a URL command(/cmd.cgi?action=RemoteReboot) that will allow remotely rebooting the device.
- Added the ability to configure a timeout for GoToMyDevices.com push requests.
- Added a boot verification step that checks the MAC address and restores it to a saved value if it is incorrect.
- Added the ability to set relay and light tower status via SNMP Set commands.
- Added the ability to get relay and light tower status via SNMP Get commands.
- Updated the URL for GoToMyDevices.com push requests to remove the 'www'.
- Updated the Security page so the current password must always be entered prior to changing to a new password.
- Improved functionality on the Settings page to add greater browser compatibility.
- Improved the accuracy of the humidity calculation.
- Resolved an issue that caused analog values in email alerts to be scaled improperly.
- Resolved an issue that could cause the 'Enabled Email Footer' and 'Enable SMS' options to not be applied for email notifications.
- Resolved an issue that caused only the first 8 characters of the device name to be sent with DHCP requests.
- Resolved an issue that prevented the internal relay from being set to 'Off' on boot.
